I love finding a good deal, especially when:

A.) I don’t have to leave my house

B.) It’s something I want anyway, and now I get it (or get to give it) at a GREAT price!!

I just came across Amazon’s $5 Magazine Sale it ends TODAY, TUESDAY DECEMBER 1st. So don’t delay on a great way to cross some people off the Holiday Gift List.  Sister? Friend? Brother? Teacher?  At $5, the possibilities are endless!!!  I always do my magazine subscriptions through Amazon. I LOVE HOUSE BEAUTIFUL.  I’m a die hard Domino Magazine fan and am still mourning the loss of it being discontinued.  (If you are like me, check out the new online publication, Lonny Magazine, by many of the old Domino staffers).  However, for a magazine that you can flip through in real life, in your own 2 hands (with a glass of wine/cup of coffee) with great design tips, and good layout, I really, really love House Beautiful!

Food & Wine (1-year) $5 sale (Cover $54) MUST ORDER by TODAY 12/1 for sale price
I do not get this magazine, but my Genius Sister-in-Law does and very often turns up with amazing new recipes she has discovered. Give to a friend or relative that you see often so you can reap the benefits!

Southern Living (1-year) $5 sale (Cover $59.88) MUST ORDER by TODAY 12/1 for sale price
I do not currently subscribe to this magazine, but have in the past and have quiet a collection of yummy, comfort food recipes saved from older issues.  Surprisingly, I have also found quite a few good salad recipes in this magazine.  More “hearty” salads, that can replace a meal.

ESPN (1-year) $5 sale (Cover $129) MUST ORDER by TODAY 12/1 for sale price
I have not ordered this one before, however after reading the reviews and seeing it’s ranking on Amazon, with a sale price of $5 and a cover price of $129…seems like a great stocking stuffer for the hubby or any sports fan!

Food Network Magazine (1-year) $15 (Cover $39.90)
I do not get this magazine, but thought it might be a good one to add to the collection.  I often turn to the The Food Network for recipes in a pinch and try to watch a show or 2 by having the Food Network channel on in the house while I run around chasing kids.  Having the magazine might be a good way of seeing what my favorite shows are currently cooking and also having the recipes at my finger trips rather than going online to find them…

InStyle (1-year)$19.50 (Cover $51.87)
Great style tips, new shopping sources, and fun inspiration!  I don’t have that much time to search the shops (what mom really does!?) love having style suggestions that come to my house and also give me websites and phone numbers to order from.  Plus the party tips (decor & food & drinks) are always good!

Men’s Health (1-year)$24.95 (Cover $49.90)
Hubby is a fan of this magazine.  He likes the “Eat this, not that” recommendations for good protein meals, or meals on the go.  Also, great new gym tips, etc.  I wish I liked the Women’s Health magazine option as much, oh well.  Men’s Health is a Great magazine for a stocking stuffer!

Vanity Fair (1-year)$15 (Cover $59.40)
Always a good read with good articles.  My mom is an avid reader and I find I often turn to it in Dr’s offices for an article with substance.

Vogue (1-year)$15 (Cover $47.88)
I’m newly back into this magazine after seeing the movie, The September Issue. It gives you a whole new perspective on the power of the fashion world and the editor of Vogue specifically on what we wear everyday, and what the large fashion houses are designing.  I really appreciate the art direction and photography so much more after seeing the movie and understanding how the magazine is assembled.

Parents (2-year)$12 (Cover $84)
This was given to me as a gift and I’ve really liked it.  Good tips for parents, and quick articles.  It’s an easy read as I go to bed and often has current and relevant tips for ever day parenting.
