favorite finds friday
These weeks keep flying by, HOW does that happen?!?!?  I must say, I LOVED my week off from cooking!!  Such a treat!  I can honestly say I have never done that before, but will definitely again.  It was obviously a little pricier than cooking every meal, but if you balance it between some lower priced places, it's not too bad.  And fun for older kids too, you could have everyone...
a little t.shirt love
I am not a crafty person. Wish I was. But I'm not. Wont even pretend to be just a little bit crafty. Instead I like to find people that ARE crafty and toss ideas around with them, since I know the completed project will look MUCH BETTER coming from them rather than me. The current project I was trying to figure out was cute Valentine's T-shirts for the girls.  Usually...
wordless wednesday ~ insatiable
Does wine REALLY require words? This is all you need to know: It's about $8 at the grocery store. "Full and rich flavors of Black Cassis and Black Cherry dominate the broad pallet with a long, smooth finish. Underlying notes of vanilla and cola fan out on the expressive bold finish." A friend told me to try it. I did, I liked it, mellow, fruit flavor. Check it out Good...
what every girl wants…
A housekeeper 7 days a week, a chef and perfect swimsuit body a week after giving birth!!!! OK, just kidding.... JEWELRY!! I am not a fashion expert.  I'm pretty good at getting you through a few years of pregnancy without having to buy that much, but regular fashion is not one of my SUPER strengths.  However, accessories have been my friend for the past 3 years.  As I lived in...
valentine book love
So on the same road as Saturday's post that I just have not felt like cooking, Sunday morning was the same.  So we went to Fashion Island, enjoyed a little Pain du Monde yumminess and then let Addie run around since all the stores were closed. As you can see, she REALLY dressed up for the occasion!! (We had to wear rain boots and we had to bring our pet...
i’m boycotting the kitchen
I think I'm boycotting cooking next week. I was going to post a menu, but not follow it ourselves.  Then I thought there are probably other moms out there like me that just don't want to cook sometimes. Last week was HARD! To be totally housed, with 2 super young, sick and bored kids, and hitting 6 weeks until Baby #3's arrival - while keeping up with life in general,...

It's been a busy, but slow week!  Anyone else in So Cal feeling a little HOUSED with the Littles this week???  We have been reduced to having all the chairs back on top of our kitchen table.  BOTH Hayden and Addie are having fun climbing on EVERYTHING!  Addie now thinks climbing the drawer handles to get into the upper kitchen cabinets is fun...OH JOY!  Our biggest saving grace outing was...
when the “IT” hits the fan
In getting ready for Baby #3 in 7 weeks (SOOOO NOT FUNNY!  The day will be here WAYYYY too soon!) I've started checking over things that may need to be replaced or triplicated (no need to actually UNPACK anything as our Littles are still so LITTLE, AGGGGH!) Anyway, as I go through things, I'm reminded of GOOD ADVICE I have received in the past.  My sister has a darling 3...
wordless wednesday ~ chocolate fondue
(Image from Real Simple) I don't think Chocolate Fondue EVER needs explanation. But if you want one, here's the easy recipe. To die for....
