My most Favorite Things??
My family.
It’s no secret. And I’m sure you feel the same about your own. As we are down to 2 weeks before our family has 5 people in it (CRAZY!), all I can think about is how fortunate I am to have the incredible husband (and Dada) that I do, and how darling our little girls are (even if they can be little stinkers sometimes too!!)
And I think it’s nice to have small happies for yourself displayed daily reminding you of special moments, or of those special people.
One of my amazing college friends frames and displays notes around her house that she and her husband have written to each other. I love it! Not quite as easy to get angry when you can read a sweet note a few inches away…..
So I can’t say the following idea is all mine.
In our room I keep a framed photo of the card my husband gave me on my birthday, the night he proposed, next to a fabulous photo taken at our wedding. Every time I see it it makes me smile.
Something like this belongs next to your bed, your bathroom sink, a bookshelf in your room, next to your computer, or maybe a special shelf in your closet. (And no, I do not have flowers next to my bed everyday. It was my birthday 10 days ago and our sweet nanny surprised me with them!)
The other thing that makes me smile in our room is a photo I have of each of the girls on the day they were born. I stand these on my perfume tray and remember them that way….so little and so perfect! Can’t believe there will be a third!!
My jewelry box that sits behind this tray also has the little braceletes that each baby wore. Again, I smile every time I open the box…..I also like to look at them as reminders to myself on a bad day, that they are just babies.
Enjoy your week and display your favorite loved ones in a special way!
Check back this week, we survived the double 1 and 2 birthday party and I can’t wait to share the invites, gift bags, and fun from it all!

Our wedding pic and pictures of my girls on the day they were born also are my most treasured items. Everytime I see them it brings me joy. Thanks for sharing this cute display idea! Make room on that perfume tray for picture # 3!!!! XOXO

I have this picture of my Hayden fresh from the oven, cord STILL attached, being held up by my favorite Doctor in the world. He was the most precious red-headed baby ever born, and even though he wasn’t even cleaned off or detached from his umbilical cord it is one of my most favorite pictures. I can’t help but think about how precious he looks.
And can you believe it, I STILL haven’t ordered wedding photos? I have an album, but that’s about it. So sad!

What sweet ideas and great points. Just one more way to help me keep from turning into my “evil twin” on those bad days when I am less that I wanna be. I love it!
