My tip for you today is a little random, but it is truly legit. And I may go to Mom Hell for taking these photos, but you have to know that the camera was on my office desk, which was where I was sitting, and shooting them in action mode meant this was about 3 seconds! So I promise, hugs and cuddles were soon given…
TIP:
If you ever need to wash your Little’s “B”, “Wubby”, “Lovey”, “Blankie”, etc…..you are wise to HIDE IT from them as you carry it to the laundry room…
And continue to HIDE IT as you put it in the washer…
Where one might want to improve upon my downfall would be to NOT LET THEM SEE IT ONCE IT’S IN THE WASHER!
Your Little may not understand when you tell them “B” is taking a bath, and she (or he) may continue to let you know how disappointed in your actions she (or he) is for the next 30 minutes of your 90 minute drive….that you were getting the address for, which is why she (or he) may have followed you into the office (AKA Laundry Room) …
Just a heads up so you don’t make the same “rookie” move this normally “non rookie” mom made.
It will truly make your Labor Day, a LABOR DAY!
(But it does make for some pretty entertaining and hysterical photos….yep, Mom Hell for me…)

Great shots! This happens here all the time too. My girlfriend’s daughter had a small stuffed hippo as her comfort item and my friend secretly had 2 of them which she rotated to clean behind her daughters back. This MAJORLY backfired when her daughter found the 2nd hippo after a year or two of the secret. It was devastating to her – like finding out there is no Santa. Too funny!!

I feel her agony. Adorable captures for the baby book or wedding rehearsal dinner photo montage.

So funny and sad all at the same time. I took pictures of a similar meltdown and my husband was horrified and made me delete them!
I bought my baby girl the aden + anais lovies and they come in a two-pack. GENIUS.

I loved this… so many times I have had to pull wet loveys from the washer its better to just wash them when they are asleep.

I am surely going to Mommy Hell with you because taking these pics crack me up! I can’t wait to show my teenage son what a little monster he could be sometimes…
I hide the woobie like I’m on a secret CIA mission to get it to the washer without being seen. Thank goodness our washer & dryer aren’t inside the house in plain sight or I’m sure we would have similar issue when he saw “Rupert” twirling round and round in the water.
Awesome.

I’m going to Mom Hell with you, then, because I admit I take these sorts of photos a lot. How can you not, when it’s rather cute and a little silly? My little guy will cringe one day from all of his “the world is OVER, Mommy” pictures.
