There is so much to a day that can be daunting and mundane….laundry, dishes, errands, work, diapers, cleaning…..blah. That’s it’s nice to give yourself a little boost here and there, even if that just means looking across the room at something pretty. I
like to plant things in our garden that I can cut for inside the house too. We have Hydrangeas, Roses, Sunflowers and Rosemary that can all make me smile. But my current happy friends are the Chicks & Hens and Nasturtiums.
Both grow like weeds, so don’t fret about cutting them. (And Nasturtiums are edible too, so throw a couple in your salad or top a cake!)
This is currently on the table in my front room. But sometimes I move it next to the kitchen sink…
Even if the room is a disaster of laundry piles, crazy kids & toys, this table still gives me a bit of peace.
A little serenity in the middle of a mundane and crazy day.
Go cut yourself some flowers and breathe!
