My Genius Sister-in-Law, my Brilliant Sister-in-Law and I threw a baby shower for my ever so pregnant Fabulous Sister-in-Law this past weekend (Yep. That’s a lot of Sister-in-Laws!!). Now to say that I was really involved…kind of a stretch. I helped with the games. Genius Sister-in-Law was the amazing brain and orchestrator and Brilliant Sister-in-Law came up with a BRILLIANT gift addition to the shower. It was such a sweet and special afternoon!
This is my Fabulous Sister-in-Law. Her sweet baby girl will be grand baby #10!
And would you believe, she will be the 8th granddaughter!!
Poor boys, they have no chance. The girls will dominate…
I love paper lanterns.
They add so much color to a party and are so inexpensive.
Lots of bang for the buck!
This is Brilliant Sister-in-Law’s AWESOME gift idea.
I’ve seen loads of clothes line gifts at baby showers, and it’s ALWAYS cute!
But this one was by far my favorite! It was HUGE, the photo doesn’t do it justice.
Remember how I said this baby is the 8th granddaughter??
Well this clothesline was made up of all hand me down clothes from each of her nieces.
So special! It was amazing to look up at all of “our little girls” on those lines!!
Even the Daddy to be and our niece were impressed!
And as usual, Genius Sister-in-Law served a menu to die for…
Her Chili Lime Crab Salad Cups are ALWAYS a hit!
This Baked Brie was pretty darn good too…considering I had about 15 crackers.
But who’s counting.
Strawberries are another great bang for the buck.
They look great, add loads of color and of course, taste good too.
The Mommy to be is a Sprinkles lover…who can blame her!
A couple games are always good to keep the party moving.
A good easy one is the “Baby Food” game.
Let your guests guess the different baby foods.
Hubs picked these up for me. I asked him to grab some basics, and then some combos…
He came home with Peas, Bananas, Pears, Sweet Potatoes, Etc….
Then a Mac & Cheese (UH?? They make a BLENDED baby food of that??)
But the clincher…..HAM & GRAVY! I was shocked!
Genius Sister-in-Law could guess each one in seconds!
She also did this super sweet gift.
The bassinet was filled with mixed hand me downs and new fun bath toys.
I thought it was an adorable way to give a wonderful gift of much needed items.
Loved the pure joy on Fabulous Sister-in-Law’s face as she opened each gift!
And I’m pretty sure Daddy to be will like this gift too…
Addie tried to help where she could…
Check out the look on her face as she DESPERATELY tries to open that bag!
What party would be complete without a great take home favor??
Carmel Apples are a favorite with my husbands family.
These delicious and beautiful ones came from Whole Foods.
Yum!
Much Congrats Fabulous Sister-in-Law!
Can’t wait to meet the newest sweet baby girl!

Looks like a great party! I love useful & creative ideas like the clothes line. Great that it’s hand me down stuff. There’s plenty of time to buy new, but it’s awesome to start off with a ton of great stuff, too. Definitely more bang for your buck!

I love how you took a traditional baby shower game but made it look so much cooler then it usually does! The party looked so pretty, simple, elegant and effortless the way entertaining should.
