“When my newborn was 7 weeks old, I was having one of THOSE days.  She was colicky and refluxy and miserable.  Cried the entire day, didn’t sleep at all.  I was at my wit’s end.  I finally put her in the car that afternoon and headed to South Coast to do laps around the mall and prayed she would fall asleep.  I looked in the mirror on my way over and was frightened by what I saw.  I looked like I hadn’t slept in weeks (I hadn’t) and it was depressing.  I wanted to cry for more reasons than one.

But, with a Starbucks in hand and two laps later, I found myself in Nordstrom with a sleeping baby (hallelujah!) and went to a make-up counter for some help.   My skin was so broken out from all the nursing hormones.  I needed a serious beauty pick-me-up!

It was there I discovered my absolute FAVORITE foundation I have ever worn in 35 years, the Giorgio Armani Face Fabric Foundation.  It is heaven.  My skin is quite oily and prone to breakouts, so I usually don’t wear foundation, but this one is different.  It feels more like a luscious silky powder vs. a liquid foundation.  It goes on so smooth and feels so light!  It has great coverage and was a God-send for this new mama! To say I LOVE it is an understatement.

I left that day with a made over face, new favorite find and a sleeping baby as a bonus!
