I’m all about finding ways to make my life easier.

Not that I’m lazy, though I’m a little bit of that too…but truly on any given day, I’m going in at least 20 different directions at once. What mom isn’t!?!?

And to manage all those directions is one item that I can’t live without, my iPhone.  My calendar, my contacts, my 6 different email accounts, Facebook, Twitter, Starbucks, Camera are all on that phone…..ohhhhh to tell you all the apps that I use on a regular basis (stay tuned for a future post).  It is not always easy to sit down at your computer, but you can almost always grab 5 seconds on your phone.  Waiting for carpool?  Kids sleeping in the car? Waiting at the carwash?

So when I saw this new app, and just in time for Valentine’s Day no less,  I was thrilled!

I can’t tell you how many times I’m asked for a good florist to send something to, especially for out of state.  That’s the toughest one.  You never really get to see the flowers, you’re never really sure if the florist “got it”, your just waiting in a heep of “you’re never really sure“.  Plus the fact you have to spend hours trying to locate someone.  WHO HAS THAT KIND OF TIME!??

I for one, do not.

So when a friend told me about a new iPhone app for California Blooms that she tried out, I was impressed and thrilled!  You may remember my Latte Fairy friend and her son from the Got Milk post.  (Love having a team of mom friends to help find and share Favorites!)

She recently ordered the most amazing roses from California Blooms.  All they sell are roses.  It’s what the specialize in. Beautiful “boutique-grown roses from the central coast of California”. So there is no wondering if you are about to get random flowers with random ugly filler.  All you can order are gorgeous roses.

And I  love that they are from a “family-owned farm (that) has grown varietal roses for over seven generations, and utilizes eco-friendly methods that drastically reduce the demand for energy and water consumption“.

Here is how difficult this was for my Latte Fairy friend:

1. She downloaded the California Blooms App for her iPhone from iTunes.
2. Found the color roses that she wanted.
3. Ordered them from her iPhone.
4. They were delivered the next day.
5. DONE!

Seriously, how simple!

You can do it in 3 minutes from the carpool line up!  And they look like this!!  No more wondering!
