{home & garden} 5 new favorites (& giveway)

Baking Soda Box 1

Have you been following along the past 5 months while I’ve been trying Arm & Hammer’s products for their The Switch & Save Challenge?  Have you entered for the $25,000 Giveaway over on The Switch & Save site yet??  Ummmm, worth it…SOMEONE has to win, right!?!?  I can think of a WHOLE LOTTA stuff that $25K would be good for!

This final post (and the last $25 Visa Gift Card Giveaway) is a wrap up of the last 5 months. I thought I might do a little recap of each of the products and my favorite thing about them. Let’s go by degree of life changing, with the most life changing at the end of the list.

Let’s start with the Arm & Hammer Essentials Fabric Softener Sheets …..

I had to look outside the box on this one as I’m not a scent girl (as subtle & simple) as it is. But what I found was including these fabric sheets in my storage boxes with linens and blankets keeps everything smelling very fresh  (not “stored and stuffy” smelling). I love that they are all natural and not filled with chemicals too. There were so many fabulous suggestions left by readers in the comments, but my favorite tip and why I’ll keep using Arm & Hammer’s Fabric Sheets, was using them in storage boxes.

Outcome? Yes, I will keep using!

Next Arm & Hammer’s Advance White Brilliant Sparkle Toothpaste

I have loved this toothpaste for YEARS now! More years than I can count (or calculate easily in my head). All I know is that I have no plans to stop using this toothpaste EVER. I love, love, love the dentist chair, minty clean it leaves me with…so much so that I pick up another tube almost every time I’m at Target just to be sure I don’t ever find myself without it (please don’t look in my bathroom cabinet, you might commit me…)

Outcome? YES, I will keep using!

Arm & Hammer Plus OxiClean Power Gel Laundry Detergent….

THIS was a shocker and a surprise.  I’ve never seen anything that could get the kids clothes, let alone the kids WHITE clothes this clean. When I found that Costco started carrying the bulk container for it, I was doubly sold. It’s the only detergent we use now (no extra boosters, or capsules), A&H detergent is it.

Outcome? Yes, we will keep using it!

Baking Soda….

OK, so obviously I’m still using this, who doesn’t use baking soda?? What is amazing to me is knowing now ALL of the things that baking soda can do (besides bake cookies), my favorite uses so far?  Making watercolor paint for the girls, getting out permanent marker, and most of all, adding it with water to particularly messy pots and pans and letting it soak. The yuck almost pours out of the pans in the morning when I wash them. Honestly, is there anything Baking Soda DOESN’T help with ??

Outcome? Heck yes, I will keep using it! (I now buy the bulk size at Costco).

Lasltly and most imporantly, Spinbrush ProClean

Literally I feel as though my life has changed from this one little brush.  My kids all use it now, my husband uses it, my little sister uses it, my 90+ year old aunt is using it! IT IS THE BEST TOOTHBRUSH IN THE WORLD (in case you were wondering how I really feel, I really, really like it).

Outcome? YES with both hands in the air and jumping up and down, we will ALL keep using it!

Thank you Arm & Hammer for the opportunity to try some new favorites and to brag on some old favorites. The outcome is, I now is EVERY SINGLE PRODUCT in our home.
