Baby

yummie tummie for mummie, er, mummy!

OK, baby is here, I’m still at the hospital, but I can assure you that I’m DREAMING of, (longing, salivating, DYING) to get my pre-3-year-pregnant body back!!!  I’m no fool, I know it will take some time (even if hubby is hoping it will be back by Monday…), but get it back I will!

But I have a secret, (though not so secret when you publish it in a blog read by thousands…)

I am IN LOVE WITH YUMMIE TUMMIE shapewear!

I found this amazing line through

wordless wednesday ~ perfect piper!

We welcome with love

Piper Danielle

Thank you for all the support, encouragement, emails, tweets, posts!

Your friendship, thoughts and prayers mean the world to us!

today is the day!

So it’s here.

The day we finally meet #3…who as I write this still does not have a name waiting for her…but hopefully by the time you read this, she will!

As I write this post one week before you actually read it, I’m flooded with memories from last year.  So I’ll warn you now…

this will not be my typical post

it will be more personal

and it will be long.

But it is where I am at the moment…

hospital time...what to pack?

Sunday I finally sat down to pack my hospital bag.  Can’t believe I waited until now, but it’s finally done!

I tend to keep things simple when I pack my bag for the hospital. If you have a regular delivery, your stay will be short.  But you will still be DYING for that first shower, and  you will still want some cute and cozy things to wear (and to be in all your pictures!)  But since you also have no idea what will happen when you get to the hospital, it’s…

friend favorite ~ tight bod with a pod

Melissa Heuser is a hero to me!  She saved my backside, quite literally, when I was pregnant with my first baby, Addie.  I was still working full time in an office and she came to my house 2 mornings a week and whipped my booty into gear.  I wore my pre-prego jeans until I was 5 mos pregnant and then switched to maternity clothes.  I loved that people would tell me they couldn’t tell I was pregnant until I turned around (I’m sure they were only humoring me, but I loved it anyway!).  This was not quite the case with…

wordless wednesday ~ and then there would be 3

This is last summer at the Orange County Fair.

It’s about the time we found out we would have 3 Littles…

The expression on the girls’ faces in the second frame

is how we felt when we heard the news…

But now we are feeling like frame #4

Can’t wait to meet her!

everyone needs some pixie dust!

This Favorite comes after an email reminder from a reader in Oakland, California about how wonderful this company’s poufs are!  And she is soooo right!!  Pixie Dust Decor is a DARLING company that offers poufs, bibs, blankets, burp cloths, tuffets…loads of wonderful cozy things!

I love all of the fabric choices Pixie Dust Decor offers, each item gives you the option to see swatches and collection photos.  Not only are they all so cute, but SUPER soft too!  We were given some bibs and burp…

simple magic moments

I know it’s all about my family this week, but then that’s what this blog does is show you how our family functions in the chaos of it all!

You may have noticed that I’ve been lagging a bit on email and comment responses…but there has been so much to take care of with Birthdays, Birthday Parties, Holidays, getting ready for the the new baby, this blog, work, and lack of sleep from sick Littles that I’ve been falling farther and farther behind.  Hopefully you’ll except me as human rather that throwing stones, but I…

wordless wednesday ~ the secret is out

Dada will soon be WAY out numbered.

Many have asked what #3 is, boy or girl?

And now the secret is out!

We can’t wait to meet the newest little baby girl!

blessing banks ~ a blessing of a gift!

I have a darling friend from college that I adore and love.

We lived in the same dorm, and she was as spunky as can be!  Always smiling, friends with the world, a total spitfire!

I’ll never forget visiting with her in her dorm room the first time and seeing her hooked up to what looked like a small refrigerator, and breathing into a mask…

My friend has Cystic Fibrosis.

When she came to visit with me in California, she brought along a…

pretty, pretty perideau designs!

Happy Monday Everyone!

First off, a quick apology.  It seems Feedburner has been playing some selective tricks with the MFE Readers & Followers and randomly deciding who it wants to send daily subscriptions to and who it doesn’t, and it changes throughout the week.  So, we switched our subscription service this past weekend.  You will now be receiving your daily emails through Mail Chimp.  I’m doubly crossing my fingers that this solves the problem for everyone, but please let me know if anyone is stil having issues.

Thank you!!

Now onto the fun for today!

It’s another darling Etsy shoppe! …

a little t.shirt love

I am not a crafty person.

Wish I was.

But I’m not.

Wont even pretend to be just a little bit crafty.

Instead I like to find people that ARE crafty and toss ideas around with them, since I know the completed project will look MUCH BETTER coming from them rather than me.

The current project I was trying to figure out was cute Valentine’s T-shirts for the girls.  Usually I see something fun at Old Navy that is $5-8, and cute (but not cutsie) and…

when the "IT" hits the fan

In getting ready for Baby #3 in 7 weeks (SOOOO NOT FUNNY!  The day will be here WAYYYY too soon!) I’ve started checking over things that may need to be replaced or triplicated (no need to actually UNPACK anything as our Littles are still so LITTLE, AGGGGH!)

Anyway, as I go through things, I’m reminded of GOOD ADVICE I have received in the past.  My sister has a darling 3 year old boy, and a brother 14 months younger who she was pregnant with at the same time I was pregnant with Addie.  It made my life…

where do your diapers go?

I hate carrying a diaper bag.  I’m always on the look out for any other possible bag that I can carry that will do the same job, but lets me feel like I’m still pre-kids (even though I love ‘em to pieces!!).

A very smart girlfriend (who is always in the know on new and fun things – she brought us the Sally Hansen Nail Finisher, and the Bandera Clone Cornbread.…bet you’re glad I have such cool friends!)  Anyway, she shuffles about her day with 1 darling little girl, so…

favorite finds friday

I kind of liked being able to share some favorite finds with you last Friday, so I’m going for the repeat show this week!

If you didn’t read last Friday’s post check it out to see more of Making it Lovely’s office redo and to learn how to get a free day pass to Disneyland by helping out a local charity!

This week Savvy Sassy Moms has a super fun, Eco friendly giveaway.

How cute is this bag!

As

put your helmet on and get ready for 2010!

It’s New Year’s Eve…and the only thing I know for sure is that 2010 is going to be a wild ride for us!!  I’m  strapping my helmet on and preparing for the craziness!!

On to business…do you have your goals and resolutions? Have you de-cluttered 2009 and made room for 2010???   I promise to offer suggestions in January for organizing life.  You can take it, leave it, delete it, read it, follow or unfollow me.  My goal is just to give you more tools to choose from in running your…

black friday from home

First off I just have to let RAC’s husband know that if he wants any tips on next weeks games, I’m happy to help!  I mean seeing as how all 5 of my predictions ALL CAME TRUE yesterday!  The Raiders are most certainly NOT “America’s Team”!

OK, back to the regular post!

So sorry to not have this ready for this mornings subscription email, hopefully you will all still see it and be able to take advantage.

I’ve never been a big Black Friday shopper.  I’m sure I’m missing lots of great deals and bargains, but crowds, packed parking lots,…

i'm addicted...

It’s no secret.  I love shoes.  What girl doesn’t??  Pre-loss-of-office-job and pre-kids, shoes were my most favorite thing to buy (I’m selfish), and as our sweet nanny tells me, “Your closet is like a museum!”  I’m not sure I would go that far (my husband and I share a 4 x 4 box of a closet) and I know many that have bigger collections than mine, but still, you get the point that I love shoes with an *unhealthy* addiction.

However, now into my third pregnancy in 3 years, and my third new unpredictable shoe…

no drip sippy cup!

Is there such a thing????

A friend asked if I could recommend a no drip sippy cup…I looked at her like she had just proclaimed the world flat!  I felt like I had tried them all and what she (and all other moms were begging or) just didn’t exist.  But then I remembered a friend with a darling little girl that carried around a little canteen.  The last time we were with them, Addie thought it was really cool and kept trying to take it, and I didn’t recall it ever leaking…..soooooo a quick call to my girlfriend gave me…

bootcamp for your backside

This is not what I was planning on posting today, but when I received the email with the 30% off for 3 days, I decided it was only fair to share with you all (I have no affiliation with this company at all – I just love the products and wanted to pass  along a promotion)…so I moved this entry up on the post list.

Now I definitely need to start off by saying that I’m not making any claims to the fact that air brushed perfection can be reached by using any of the
